Donations made to GDUK (less transaction fees) are granted to GiveDirectly for cash transfer programs in Africa only. Funds are directed by GDUK’s board of trustees and cannot be allocated to specific programs by donors.

GDUK reclaims Gift Aid which boosts donations by 25p for each £1 donated. Higher and additional rate taxpayers can also reclaim additional tax relief via their Self Assessment returns.
